An 88-year-old man was attacked by three hooded individuals who broke into his home on Tuesday evening, in Hérouville (Val-d’Oise), learned BFM Paris-Île-de-France.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. As the victim was about to take his dog out, like every evening, the individuals forced their way and entered his house. According to the police, they were looking for a safe, a briefcase and a tapestry.
Open arm fracture
The man did not let it go and was injured by the criminals. He presents an open fracture in the arm, and was transported to the hospital of Pontoise.
In this village of Hérouville-en-Vexin of just over 600 inhabitants, the residents are dismayed.
“I find it hard to believe that they didn’t know. For me, the people who came, they had to know,” claims a neighbor.
This Wednesday morning, the gendarmes went to the scene to conduct a neighborhood survey. The three individuals have not yet been identified.
