On Tuesday, June 7, the chef hosted his last Gastronomy workshop of the season in his restaurant.

A vegetable/a fruit
This was the last workshop of the season organized by the structure. “We started them in September, at the rate of one per month, around a vegetable/fruit theme. The objective is to make these women want to cook again, to share”said the president.
On this Tuesday’s menu, burnt avocado with lemon coffee vinaigrette, and apricot au gratin with almond cream on a bed of orange and thyme caramel.
Top Chef, Clash of Champions
Faced with the one who won the super final of Top chef, the Choc des champions for three years, the smiles and the pleasure displayed by the budding cooks demonstrated the benefits of such a workshop, set up as part of the support offered by Belise.
“We have 180 patients with breast cancer, 65 health professionals, public and private, from Biterrois, medical and paramedical, and about twenty volunteersexplained Dr. Harmand Icher. These women are welcomed by a coordinator who identifies and coordinates, in an end-to-end process, their needs, medical, but also social, professional, etc., related to the side effects of the treatment, whatever it may be. The idea, for Bélise, is to start from prevention to support care, in order to offer individual, complete support, adapted to our patients.”
“Eating well contributes to the healing process”
Gastronomy workshops are part of the course. As Petit Pierre pointed out, “health is mainly about food. So eating well is part of the healing process. When Bélise contacted me for these workshops, I immediately bought into this idea.”
From September, Bélise is expanding its support: it will offer sports workshops, couple support and tattooing. You should know that the association works thanks to subsidies from the City, the Agglo and the department. “Various donations and sponsorship also allow us to implement our actions.”
