Did you know ? the Michelin Guide does not only distribute stars, it also awards “Bib Gourmand”.

A Bib Gourmet is given “to restaurants where you can eat three complete dishes of your choice for around 39 euros”, explains the famous gastronomic guide on its site. “These are restaurants known for their generosity and excellent value for money“, adds the latter.

On the scale of the Grand Est, 36 establishments have received this distinction, as our colleagues from the Candy. Here is a selection.

Strasbourg: Au Pont du Corbeau and its authenticity

In Strasbourg, for example, we find the Raven Bridge, touted for its authenticity. Both in terms of its “traditional decor” and for its cuisine, Alsatian necessarily, which relies on “a network of local producers”.

In short, a “coup de coeur” for which you will have to pay between 21 and 43 euros.

Strasbourg: Le Bistrot d’Antoine, and its tasty seasonal products

We stay in the Alsatian capital with, this time, Antoine’s Bistro.

Here, it is the “preferably tasty seasonal and local products” as well as the “generous plates drawn from traditional cuisine” that are praised.

Haguenau: The Garden and its classics

We move a little away from Strasbourg, while remaining in the Bas-Rhin, with The gardena restaurant located in Haguenau.

“In unison, father and son have put together a wisely contemporary menu, without ever forgetting the classics of the house: fish soup, tuna carpaccio, Châteaubriand with Béarnaise sauce…”, boasts the guide on its website. “As for the decor, which has been totally modernized, it is still adorned with a superb Renaissance ceiling,” he adds.

Nancy: Madam, the unclassifiable

We now leave the Bas-Rhin, towards Meurthe-et-Moselle. Nancy, specifically.

There lies Mrs.a “rather unclassifiable” table, “where a passionate chef cooks fresh according to the market and her desires of the moment”, indicates the bibendum.

Moselle: the generous portions of the Hostellerie du Prieuré and the neat dishes of Dimofski

A short detour via the Moselle, with two distinguished establishments: The Hostellerie du Prieuréin Saint-Quirin, and the Restaurant Dimofskyin Woelfling-lès-Sarreguemines.

For the first, the guide praises “the generous portions” and the “tasty desserts of Maeva, the bosses’ daughter”.

As for the second, we will remember the “well-cared for and tasty dishes, inhaling the spirit of the times”.
