In this first episode of the week, Michel Cymes looks at the contents of your plate and suggests that you take out the calculator to count calories. Because too often, you make the choice of the caloric whole whereas there exists systematically or almost an equivalent product.
To avoid unnecessary pounds, the rule is as follows: don’t take in more calories than you burn. For drinks, drink water and stop fruit juices and sodas. If necessary, treat yourself to fresh, squeezed fruit.
Even more spectacular, soup. An industrial soup is around 200 calories. If you make it yourself with seasonal vegetables, you plummet to around 30 calories. Ditto for chicken, starch or bread.
